Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Nail Polish Strips are imbedded with real nail polish and can be applied in the comfort of one’s own home by simply peeling off a protective layer, then fitting and filing the nail.
The strips were designed to mimic the effects of the widely popular salon process, ‘Minx’, a favourite with celebrities such as Lady Gaga. It can cost more than £30 to have Minx nails applied, and the process is often time-consuming.
“Minx is very big, and we’ve found a way to allow women to do it at home for much less,” saidthe vice president of marketing for the sally Hansen Group, Annette Devita. “We looked at how we can translate Minx at home.”
